Arthur stares in the mirror, one hand on his stomach. He can't believe they've come this far in their relationship. His big brother was a pain in his ass, but they loved each other. The ring on his left ring finger proved that much. Arthur slowly rubbed his stomach, feeling the large bump. It had been several months since Alistair had first impregnated Arthur. They were still going strong. Arthur could remember how they first got together.

"No, Francis, I won't marry you!" Arthur hissed during the lunch break of their World Conference.

The Frenchman pouted, "Why not Angleterre? Are you dating someone else?"

    "Yes!"

Arthur said it without thinking and blushed heavily as Francis' eyes widened in surprise and the heads of several nations immediately turned to watch, interest shining in their eyes. Arthur looked around at them before his eyes met a pair of venom green orbs. Alistair stood and made his way around the table, wrapping his arms around his brother. He kissed his hair in a loving way.

    "Y-Y-You're brother?" Francis gasped.

"Yeah!" Arthur replied, "And there's nothing you can do!"

Alistair smirked and took Arthur's hand, leading him outside. The two sat on the steps and Alistair leaned back.

"Thanks for getting me out of that." Arthur said to his older brother, before adding, "Git."

"Yeh're not out of it yet, yeh arse. We're goin' out. Yeh're takin' me to dinner." Alistair said with a smirk as he looked at his little, brother, who rolled his eyes in reply, but knew this was the start to something great.

Arthur felt arms sneak around his waist from behind and saw Alistair's crimson hair as he rested his head on Arthur's shoulder. He placed a large hand over Arthur's stomach and smiled.

"She's awake." He commented, feeling the baby kick beneath his husband's stomach.

"Why are you so sure it's a girl?"

    "I can tell. Father's intuition."

Arthur smiled at that reply and leaned back against his brother. Their life was changing drastically, but he knew they would last together no matter what. It made Arthur smile to think that in a way... Francis was actually responsible for their marriage.

He'd have to thank the French bastard.
